Why we do Trunk or Treat

This is our largest outreach of the year and brings more than 15,000 people onto our campus. We have an opportunity, on October 31st, to reach people who might not otherwise come onto a church campus, to bring the light of Jesus to a dark night. We get to pray with people and share the hope of Christ. Together, as the church, God uses us and this evening to make a huge impact in the community. Check out the ways you can participate. 

HOST A TRUNK

This means decorating your trunk with a life-giving theme and passing out candy to families that come through the trunk lines. Our goal is 120 vehicles.

Select from various areas such as face painting, game booths, general greeters and area hosts. It takes about 500 volunteers to make this event a success.

CANDY COLLECTION

Drop candy off at all of our church campuses or have it delivered directly to the Administrative Office. We give away 7 tons of candy during this outreach and we really, really need your help to meet that goal. 

FAQ’S

Where do I park?

Our guest parking is located in offsite lots A or B then and walk to the campus. Additional parking is available in lot C. Shuttle service is provided for Parking Lot C only. Last shuttle is at 10pm.

Limited spaces for handicapped parking is provided on campus next to the two-story building, and subject to availability.

What is the guest experience like?

Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. This outreach event brings over 10,000 people from our community to our campus each year.

Wander through 100+ cars with elaborately decorated trunks. Bring your kids and safely go from car to car for treats. Plus there is entertainment, rides, games, and other Halloween fun for the entire family.

Is there a cost to attend?

This event is FREE!

You may choose to purchase food, drinks or snacks at the event.

Where do I enter the event?

The pedestrian entrance to the event is on East Ave. There may be a line; please be kind and courteous as you wait your turn to enter.

Are pets allowed?

It is strongly recommended that you leave your furry friends at home. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Will there be food available?

Yes! Stop by one of the food trucks or snack stations during the event to purchase a bite to eat.

Can we wear costumes?

Yes! Costumes are allowed. We love seeing everyone dressed up, but please adhere to our non-scary policy while on our campus.

When does the line for candy/trunks close?

Please ensure you get in line for the trunk area early. Our trunk lines close promptly at 8:30pm.
