Your First Steps Following Jesus
Baptisms at Water of Life are a big celebration, and it is the next step for anyone who commits their life to trust and follow Jesus. Baptism is the outward symbol of an inward commitment to surrender your life to Jesus and live for Him as your King.
The Baptism class is required in order to get baptized at Water of Life. As soon as you have committed your life to Jesus, you can and should be baptized.
In preparation to be baptized at Water of Life, each person will need to attend a baptism class.
Adults | 13+
This class helps you to better understand the “whys” and “whats” of baptism and prepares you for baptism at Water of Life.
Youth | Age 7+
This class helps children age 7 and above better understand the “whys” and “whats” of baptism and prepares them for baptism at Water of Life. A parent must attend this class with their child.

Understanding who God is and how He created you.
This 5-week course aims to deepen your understanding of God’s nature and character, as well as assist you in grasping the identity that God has bestowed upon you. In today’s culture, finding our identity can be a struggle. We will explore how our identity needs to be anchored in Jesus to live out the life He has designed for us.

Spiritual disciplines to help you build a solid foundation in Christ.
In this 4-week class you will learn how practicing spiritual disciplines such as reading the Bible, praying, worshipping, and finding a mentor are helpful for new believers to build a solid foundation for following Jesus more faithfully and with deeper intimacy.

As a believer, having a spiritual mentor who cares for you and walks beside you can make all the difference on your discipleship journey. We will pair you with a mature Christian for a short-term, intentional, highly relational mentor.
Allow someone to walk with you, to do life together with you and guide you in the ways of following Jesus.
