Missionary Information:
Base leaders, oversight to Discipleship Training Schools and local community outreaches.
Quarterly Update:
We have been working for the past few years pastoring our YWAM base, discipling staff (we have roughly around 40 staff) running our Children’s and Teen’s ministry as well as our Discipleship Training Schools, Secondary Bible and Missions schools and the Worship team. We have also this past year been ordained as Pastors not only of our YWAM base but also for our church that we opened in town. We currently have around 80 members, many that are growing in their faith and many that are in need of discipleship.
We are looking forward to building and opening a youth center in our town. Many of the youth go through difficulties with family, drug abuse, physical abuse and abandonment and there is no specific place for them to go when they are in crisis. We hope to have it finished and opened possibly by the end of 2022.
Our Anniversary date: July 30, 2010 Boys birthdays: James – April 12, 2014, Levi – May 13, 2016 and Andrew- January 22, 2021.
YWAM or Youth With A Mission is an international and interdenominational organization that strives on “Knowing God and Making Him Known”. Our goal is to train others for the mission field, evangelize in many different ways and reach out to different groups of people in need in order for Jesus to be preached!
Prayer Requests:
We constantly need wisdom to guide our staff and church members, as well as our own children in God’s walk. We need wisdom as well to find balance between ministry and family.
We are in need of purchasing a truck for our ministry- we will be doing construction on our new church area as well as the youth center and will need the truck for transportation as well as for our family life (we live 16km outside of the city and the drive to take and pick up the kids from school is about 15-20 minutes each way.) Having a truck would facilitate our everyday activities as well.
We also need prayer for our youth center- for wisdom, discernment and power from the Holy Spirit to minister to these kids lives and to their families.
