The Armor of God Support Group is for active, inactive, reserve, or former personnel who have been exposed to occupational stress or traumatic events. These environments can be harsh or demanding, and they can lead to physical, emotional, or psychological wounds, scars or even distress. Absent intervention or undertaking preventive measures, these struggles can manifest negatively and can impact relationships; including one’s personal walk with God.

The  group’s goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for fellowship, learning, and spiritual healing, while helping to bring reconciliation and restoration to individuals and families. Group facilitators will share the Good News of the Gospel and help bolster knowledge of God’s Word and His promises. Gatherings may include Bible study, video teaching series, worship, fellowship and mentoring with Christ following peers.

By fortifying oneself in God’s Word and relationship, participants will be equipped with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) and be suited to fend-off and extinguish the flaming arrows of the enemy, by developing a healthy and strong spirit-filled relationship with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
