During our September 2026 Vision Night, we shared that we wouldn’t be able to respond to every question submitted that evening.
After taking time to listen and review the questions, we identified several common themes.
Below, you’ll find responses to some of the questions we received as we continue the conversation and seek God together for what’s ahead.
Our five core values at Water of Life are not changing!
Healing, Equipping, Relationships, Caring and Sending will continue to be the values through which we shape everything we do at WOL.
The four objectives presented at the Vision Night are a way for us to provide context of how we view, communicate and live out our core values.
WOL has been extremely blessed with our Fontana campus!
In many ways it is a fulfillment of God’s promises over the past 36 years and we believe it will continue to be an integral part of how God utilizes WOL to reach our region and make disciples.
There is no plan to do away with the larger ministry environments of the Fontana campus, but to rather utilize the various ministries that take place at Fontana as a launchpad for how our core values can be expressed and contextualized in other, smaller congregations.
A number of you asked really thoughtful and helpful questions, many of which were tied directly to a specific ministry, a single church matter or a leadership value that wasn’t directly tied to the Vision Night. While we think they are important to address or bring clarity around we knew doing all that in a single night was not possible. Our plan is to gather again sometime in the early months of next year and begin to unpack specific details around leadership and ministry with the intent to address those questions.
