Fhonkie & Hya Masigman

Latest Update:

Alfonso (Fhonkie) & Hyacinth (Hya) Masigman and their 3 children (Shaira, Shevonne & Shaun) served in Cambodia for more than 16 years. Pioneered and led the YWAM Base in Siemreap, Cambodia, and discipled the locals to continue the Kingdom work. The work was turned over to the local leadership.

In 2018, they were called to be relocated to East Asia where they were reaching families by connecting to parents in a preschool platform. They have been connecting the local **i*n*ese parents and imparting biblical values on having a family and on how to raise their children. This huge shift of ministry has been a real challenge to Fhonkie & Hya due to restrictions because of the nature of work.

They are serving in this nation together with their 2 children (Shevonne & Shaun) on the same platform but together with their children in this school where they all influence this environment as His ambassadors. 

A new house meeting (for discipleship & fellowship), where they as a family have been actively involved, has been formed in 2022. Fhonkie has been regularly one of the teachers/elders in this house meeting.

Prayer Requests:

The kingdom work is entirely different compared to their previous work in Cambodia. It is slow and needs extra vigilance so they won’t be exposed to the government and be kicked out. There have been many of their co-workers in *W*M who got kicked out in 2018.

2. Pray that many more will come and join in their house meetings especially the locals here in *h*na and God’s protection to their group.
   
   
3. Pray for God’s protection for them as a family.
   
   
4. Pray that their children will have the strength to finish their school and be His mouthpiece.
   
   
5. Pray for Fhonkie as he shares the good news at the house meeting, and for Hya as she reaches out to the parents of her preschooler students.  
   
   
6. Our eldest daughter is in the Philippines is finishing her degree to become a registered nurse. She has been reaching out to the sick people in the mountains of Fhonkie’s province. Pray for traveling mercies and that God uses her to be His healing hands.
