Along with overseeing Abundant Life Children’s Homes which care for over 700 children, Charlie and Cathy Milbrodt pastor a local church, conduct a bible school and oversee an evangelism-church planting team which has planted and constructed 115 churches across the nation of Thailand. In recent years Occupational Development through coffee farming has been developed to provide livelihood for rural villagers. Great tasting Mai Thai Coffee is the result; giving hope to rural farmers and providing support to care for orphans and at risk children in Thailand. Charlie and Cathy have been doing God’s work in Thailand for the past 27 years!

The weather has changed … the nights are cool, harvest is coming in and the Holidays are upon us already! Wow…where does the time go!?!
Hot Air Balloon Event … I am writing this letter as a hot air balloon is being packed up here at our main compound in Thailand. The team that is visiting us from Believers Center in Albuquerque arranged for a hot air balloon demonstration and rides for all our children and staff. It was spectacular…even Cathy and I went up for a ride! What a blessing for our children. Thank you Pastor Marshall and Cindi and BCA Team!
2000 Christian Leaders Impacted … Our November Leaders Seminar was a great success with dynamic ministry to our pastors, evangelist, staff and students. This month our ministry is distributing John Bevere books and teaching DVD’s in Thai language to 2000 leaders across the nation.
Churches Being Planted in Least Reached Provinces in Thailand … Construction has already begun on three locations with another two locations in the pipeline. Here is a quick update from our team in Central Thailand: Since January 2017, more than 12,000 people have heard the Good News, 5,654 people (3,179 adults and 2,475 children) accepted Jesus Christ, 925 new believers baptized, and 139 house churches established. We have set a target to bring 1,600 people to Christ by the end of the year.
Unprecedented Opportunity To Reach More Children … We have a vision to break ground on a brand new children’s home location. It is a beautiful 2 acre property on the Shadow River. This is an extremely strategic location that will give us access to over 70 villages; most have not yet opened up to the Gospel. By serving their children we will be able to begin to reach these villages and plant churches. Phase One of that project will house 96 children. We will also expand our Ban Den Children’s Home to accept another 48 children. 144 new children total!
Double Matching Gift … The projects for children will cost us $240,000 to build. It seemed to be a dream out of our reach until we were offered up to $160,000 in double matching funds. That means if we can raise $80,000 for the project, the other $160,000 is guaranteed to complete the project. That is an awesome opportunity!
