Guest Services is all about making great first impressions for our guests. Whether our guests are new to Water of Life or long-time members, they are greeted by our teams in a warm, welcoming environment that stretches “From the Street to the Seat” and all points in between. These volunteer teams offer a friendly hand, warm smile, and information that will help guests experience the love of Jesus before they even hear about Him. Consider the many opportunities there are to join our teams!
Our parking teams are the first of the first impressions at Water of Life. They safely guide our guests and members to open parking spaces or areas during weekend services and special events. For information on our parking set-up, click here.
Without the men and women driving our shuttles, church at Water of Life would be a completely different experience. If you have a Class “B” license with Passenger Endorsement, know that we’re always hiring. Click here to apply to our team as a driver.
Our shuttle hospitality team welcomes guests as they board the shuttles in our remote parking lots. They offer general information and help first-time guests feel confident that someone will help them once they arrive at the campus.
Our children’s check-in greeters and operators greet families and guide them through the registration and check-in process to make them feel welcomed and informed. They also are available to help during the week or with special events.
Works closely with the Children’s Check-In team to welcome first time guests and provide guidance and tours around the campus. First time guests are blessed with our “Start Your Journey” gift, along with Top 10 Facts about getting around the campus. For a sneak peek at our New Here Booth operations, click here.
Our greeters serve our guests at the doors, in the hallways, in the venues, and at points across our campus where we see heavy pedestrian traffic. They value our guests by giving them a sincere greeting, a genuine smile, a friendly presence, a fond farewell, and by providing general assistance during their visit.
Our ushers initiate a warm greeting, offer a friendly presence, and provide clear directions to help our guests find seats throughout the campus. The ushers work alongside other teams and may have additional responsibilities.
New and regular attending guests may have questions about specific ministries and opportunities at Water of Life; this team helps direct guests based on the needs they express.
Our guests services team members operate several golf carts to assist in transporting our guests across our campus. We focus on assisting senior citizens or those who might need additional help getting from our parking stalls to the worship center.
Guest Services also has a number of serving opportunities that occur in preparation for the weekend services. They include:
Our Communion Prep team typically meets once per month (the Saturday morning of weekends we have communion) to prepare the hundreds of trays needed for our weekend services.
Guest Services assists our Facilities Department in setting up and tearing down for our weekend services. There are physical demands to assist in this area.
Once a guest fills out a Communication Card for the first or second time, our team reaches out to encourage the First Time guest to become a Second Time guest…to become a regular member of the body of Christ at Water of Life.
Click here to watch a series of training videos we put together to share the heart behind serving with Guest Services. These videos also introduce a number of the ministry opportunities within Guest Services.
