A Letter from
Senior Pastor Shane Carroll
Merry Christmas, Water of Life Family!
What an incredible year it has been! 2025 marked 35 years of God’s faithfulness and generosity toward Water of Life. From our humble beginnings to what He’s built today, we continue to stand in awe of the stories of healing, transformation, and grace that unfold every week across our campuses. This year, we witnessed hundreds of people publicly declare their faith in Jesus through baptism—each one a powerful reminder that God is still in the business of changing lives. We’ve seen families restored, communities strengthened, and hope renewed as we’ve served together to bring the love of Jesus to our city and beyond.
As we celebrated our 35-year anniversary, I couldn’t help but think of the countless prayers, sacrifices, and steps of faith that have brought us here. The incredible legacy that our founders (especially my Dad and Mom!) have established for us to carry forward. You—our church family—continue to embody what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Your generosity has been extraordinary, fueling ministry locally and globally, and helping us continue the mission of reaching the lost and broken. Without your obedient generosity none of the incredible ministry WOL does would happen.
Looking ahead, I want to invite you once again to pray and partner with us as we step into the next phase of CityLink. We’ve seen God do the miraculous—providing nearly everything needed to make Phase One possible—and now we believe He’s calling us to take another step of faith. Together, we’ll continue building a place of hope and restoration where families experiencing hopelessness and homelessness can find safety, community, and a path forward in Jesus.
In a world that can feel uncertain and divided, we have every reason to rejoice. Jesus is still building His Church, transforming hearts, and using us to carry His light into the darkness. Thank you for being part of this story—for your prayers, your faithfulness, and your generosity. I can’t wait to see what God will do through us in the coming year.
May the peace and joy of Jesus fill your home this Christmas and lead you into the new year.
With love and gratitude,
