Caitlyn grew up at Water of Life, and now works on staff with The Prayer Room Missions Base in Dallas. She is a worship leader and intercessor in the prayer room, which operates with live prayer and worship 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. She also serves on the senior leadership team as head of Community Life and Events, and as a teacher within their internships and training programs. Her favorite thing to teach about is the end times, and she has a passion to prepare this generation for Jesus’ return. Caitlyn blogs about prayer and the end times at fragrancearise.com.Latest Update:
In this season, The Prayer Room feels a heightened focus and supernatural favor to pour energy into strengthening other houses of prayer across the US (and even a few internationally). In 2005 when TPR started, we knew that we would one day be used to impact and strengthen the prayer movement in ways that seemed too big to comprehend. As the years passed and TPR slowly grew from an hour a day in a living room to 20 hours a day in our own building, our director Brad was taking notes of all the practical lessons we were learning. These lessons are invaluable in the prayer movement because many houses of prayer have a solid theological vision but have significant gaps administratively and strategically.Eventually, Brad started doing consulting trips to other HOPs. Many around the world look to Kansas City for inspiration, but an increasing number of directors know that for tangible, practical wisdom, Brad Stroup is the man to call. Mike Bickle even recently told Brad, “When people ask me how to build the house of prayer, I send them to you!”
In Spring 2021, God dropped a significant financial windfall on us, and our leadership team felt led to use it to launch an aggressively intentional “Here, There, Online” approach to building the prayer movement. We’re creating opportunities for HOP directors to come here to learn from us on our base (including the National House of Prayer Leadership Summit in February), ways for us to go there to them for consulting trips, and a treasure trove of short documents and videos online at our new website prayermovementresources.com that will launch in 2022. We area already seeing incredible fruit from this new focus, and endless potential in the future!
