| MFT Trainees Marriage & Family Therapist Trainees are graduate students from Azusa Pacific University who are released to begin counseling while supervised by a licensed MFT certified counselor. they are able to offer up to 10 sessions on a specific issues. Persons seeking counseling will be assigned according to the level of care they require as determined by the Director of Counseling at Water of Life. Clinical Pastoral Counselor (CPC) Professional clinical care through our CPC for relational, marriage and family issues that are limited in nature. Clinical Pastoral Counselors are trained, degreed counselors at the Master's Level, however, they are not licensed with the State as an MFT Counselor. Referrals Clinical MFT Counselor and psychologist referrals are available. Referrals will be made for those having problems broader than the scope of care that Water of Life can provide. Counseling Assessments Individuals requesting counseling are required to go through an initial interview (intake) to assess the level of care we can provide. Costs There is no charge for our Pastors of the Day or our Pastoral Care Ministries however, there are some minimal fees for our counseling services.
