| | | What is Club 56? | | It's a ministry for 5th and 6th grade students. At each meeting there is jamming worship, cool activities, relevant Bible teaching and powerful prayer. This is the place to be if you're a 5th or 6th grader!

| | | Check out what's going on in the coming months at CLUB56! Outreach to Mexico: Project Pollito
One of our Core values here at Water of Life is “caring” for the poor and needy. Meeting people’s physical needs creates opportunities to not only tell people about God’s love for them –but to SHOW it! This summer, the Empowered Kids missions project is to raise money to purchase baby chicks, feed and a coops for families in the impoverished community that surrounds our WOL sponsored mission, “Helping Hands”, in Baja, Mexico. Chickens are a source for protein food, and also source of income. Throughout the summer the children who come to the Empowered Kids classes are encouraged to bring in a special offering to help with this project. Every $15 buys: 5 baby chicks, a supply of feed and chicken wire. The Outreach: Join us on a weekend trip to Helping Hands where will partner with the local church to distribute the chickens and materials to needy families.
The Dates: | Trip 1 | July 9-11 | | Trip 2 | August 13-15 | | Trip 3 | September 17-19 | The Cost: $105.00 per person (includes 6 meals, housing and transportation) Children 5 and under cost $70.00
Other Info: · Every person going must have a valid passport
Families with children of all ages are encouraged to come

Club 56 @ Laser Island Sun, Sep 26th From 6-10 pm. Cost $14.00 (unlimited Laser games). This event is for 56’ers and their families. Come learn about Spiritual Warfare as we play laser tag. Drop off and pick up at Laser Island (207 E. Foothill in Upland).

Boys/Girls Sleepover Fri, Oct 22nd Drop off 6:01 pm. Cost $10.00. This event is for Club 56’ers. First time visitors are free! Come for this night of fun, games and Bible teaching. You’ll get the chance to hang out with and meet other 5th and 6th graders as well as your favorite Club 56 Staff. The sleepover is two separate events that run simultaneously.

Ministry Trip to Skid Row Sat, Nov 13. Meet at Rancho Metrolink Station at 8:15 am. Cost $13.75 adult / $9.51 child Itinerary: We'll meet at the Metrolink Station and hop on the train -getting off at Union Station. From there we will take the Subway to Pershing Square then walk aprox. 15 city blocks to the Mission where we will feed the needy. After that we go back to Union Station. If there is enough time we will cross the street and eat some yummy Mexican food and do some sight seeing at the Historic Olvera Street. If not, we'll get on the train to head back home.
This event is for Club 56’ers and their family. Children must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

56 @ Claremont Place Sunday, Dec 5th Meet @ Circle Drive at 1:30 pm. Cost is $2.00 shuttle transportation provided.Come with us to visit with the elderly. Club 56 will do a short church service. After we will eat cookies and hang out with the residents. What to bring: $2.00 for shuttle & signed permission slip.

Ministry Trip to Skid Row

We’re going back to Skid Row… this time we’re joining the rest of the church to do a Christmas giveaway. Itenary: We'll meet at the Metrolink Station and hop on the train -getting off at Union Station. From there we will take the Subway to Pershing Square then walk aprox. 15 city blocks to the Mission where we will have our distribution. After that we go back to Union Station. If there is enough time we will cross the street and eat some yummy Mexican food and do some sight seeing at the Historic Olvera Street. If not, we'll get on the train to head back home.
