Believing Jesus, by Lisa Harper
In Believing Jesus, Lisa Harper takes a look at the lives of the believers in Acts and how Jesus’ command to spread the gospel forever shaped their lives. The disciples didn’t have much of a road map after Jesus ascended to heaven, but God’s grace and spirit filled in the gaps as they moved forward. It required their willingness to risk everything to establish a new community that would change the future world. God’s grace can change our lives too, making us willing to have our lives interrupted and boldly share the gospel with others. Cost is: $22

Precepts Class - Isaiah

Tue. from 1/10 - 4/11 at 7:00p
Miller Admin., Office Room #140
or
Tue. from 4/4 - 5/23 at 7:00p
Miller Admin., Office Room #140
(class not meeting on 4/18 and 4/25)

Isaiah prophesied during one of the worst times in the history of Israel yet this book contains some of the most incredible prophecies of any book in the Bible. It contains foreknowledge, in incredible detail, about the Messiah and the future reign of Jesus Christ. Prophecies from Isaiah are mentioned in twenty-two places in the Gospels, Acts, and Romans. The words were often found on the lips of Christ! In this class, we’ll meet the Holy One of Israel and learn how He deals with those who claim Him as God, but don’t honor Him as God in the way that they live. Well find the destiny of nations and the future of all mankind...including ours. Students are welcome to join the Precepts Class at any point. Cost is $40 for booklet. Contact Tiana at x4111 for more information.
