BASIC TRAINING
Foundations 1
Sundays, October 19th – November 9th; and November 16th – December 7th at 9:45 AM, in Seminar D.
This four-week class gives the foundational understanding of how to grow in your faith as a Christian. It is highly recommended to new believers or anyone desiring a better understanding of the essential elements for the Christian Life and walk. Contact Nico Mendez at 463-0103 ext. 113.
Baptism Class
Sunday, November 16th at 11:45 AM, in Seminar C for adults & Room 338 for 9-11 yrs. old
Baptism is a key component to the believer’s relationship with Christ. This class helps you to better understand the “whys and whats” of Baptism and prepares you for Baptism at WOL. This class is required for everyone who is interested in being baptized on Sunday, November 23rd at 1:30 PM. No pre-registration for the class required, just show up. You will sign up for the baptism in the class.
CORE CLASSES
Ministry and Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Sundays, November 2nd - December 14th at 9:45 AM, Seminar B, or October 12th – November 23rd at 11:45 AM, in Seminar B.
This seven-week class is designed to give you a Biblical understanding of the Holy Spirit and His work in the church today. This class will help you discover, develop, and deploy your spiritual gifts in your area of giftedness. Cost $5/materials. Contact Renee LaPointe at 463-0103 ext. 147.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
Marriage Enrichment Class
Sundays, 9:45 AM, in Seminar E
Do you desire to enrich and strengthen your marriage? Then this ongoing class is for you. This interactive class uses prayer, book/DVD studies and various teachers to help you grow more in love with your beloved. This Fall we will be doing a study on Blended (Step) Families taught by Glen Totten. No pre-registration is required for this class, just show up.

Heart to Heart Women’s Ministry Small Groups

This class picks up where Ministry Team I leaves off and is designed for those wanting a deeper understanding of Physical Healing, Inner-Healing and Deliverance. Boundaries for Men and Women

Property lines show where you should stop mowing your lawn and where your neighbor should start mowing his. Boundaries in relationships clarify to yourself and others where your limits are in order to reduce stress and avoid chaotic relationships. Contact Kris Anderson at 262-1768.

GriefShare Class
This class is designed to help those who are recovering from the loss and hurt experienced from losing someone close. During this thirteen-week support group you will learn how to walk the journey of grief and be supported on the way. It is a safe place where hurting people can find hope. Love Does No Harm Support Group

MOPS Mothers of Preschoolers

This group meets the 1st, 3rd & 5th weeks of the month, beginning mid October to nurture and provide support, care and friendships for mothers with children age 0 - kindergarten. Step-Families Class

Who wants to be put in a blender? Our class goal is not to blend two broken families, but to build a new family bonded together in the love of Christ. We understand the past baggage, the wounds, the difficult dynamics and the unique challenges your step-family faces. Come and learn the strategies and steps to build a successful step-family into a family bonded together in Christ. This seven week course is taught by Glen Totten. This group is for intercessors that have a deep calling to go after the Kingdom of God in fervent and effective prayer. Our time is focused on extravagant worship and God directed prayer for our church pastors, community, country and to the needs He shows us each week.
Praying Prodigals Home

A study of the parables in the Gospels in view of the setting and context of Jesus and the evangelists. Investigates the textual and spiritual significance of each.
2 Weekend Intensive Modules:
The Ministry of Healing: Dr. Paul Chappell and Dr. Donnie Eddings
October 3rd - 4th, 10th - 11th
This course examines the biblical and theological aspects of our new covenant relationship with God, the role of the Holy Spirit as the seal of our new covenant, and how to live as people of a covenantal community.
Teaching the Bible: Dr. Linda Pyun and Dr. Wess Pinkham
October 24th - 25th, October 31st – November 1st
A practical study in teaching the Bible that includes creating lesson plans for specific age groups and evaluation teaching methods and techniques. Includes educational theory as well as demonstrations in the classroom and local church setting.
